Prior to joining EnCap in 1999, Mr. Swanson served as a corporate lender at Frost National Bank and spent one year as a financial analyst at Southwest Bank of Texas.
Mr. Swanson received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and a Masters of Business Administration from The University of Texas at Austin.
Mr. Swanson serves on the board of directors of several EnCap portfolio companies and is on the board of the Houston Producers’ Forum, is a member of the Independent Petroleum Association of America and the Texas Independent Producers and Royalty Owners Association.
