Mr. Crystal serves as Vice President of investor relations and fundraising for EnCap Investments. Previously, Mr. Crystal was an Associate at EnCap, working on the investment side of the business, and prior to joining EnCap in January 2008, Mr. Crystal served as a Vice President in the commercial lending department at Amegy Bank of Texas, focusing on real estate-related development companies. For one year after his six years at Amegy, Mr. Crystal worked in the not-for-profit sector.
Mr. Crystal holds a Masters of Business Administration in Finance from Rice University and a Bachelors of Arts degree in Government from The University of Texas at Austin.
Mr. Crystal is a member of the Houston Producers’ Forum, the Independent Petroleum Association of America and Young Professionals in Energy. In addition, Mr. Crystal serves on the regional board of Hope International, a non-profit global microfinance organization.
