Prior to joining EnCap in February 2007, Mr. Smetko was an Analyst in Citigroup’s Investment Banking Division, where he focused on corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions in a wide range of industries.
After attending the University of Virginia for two years, Mr. Smetko graduated summa cum laude from Southern Methodist University’s BBA Honors Program with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance. He is a member of Young Professionals in Energy and the ADAM Energy Forum.
