Our Team

Mr. Dempsey joined EnCap in May 2023 after three years at Quinbrook Infrastructure Partners covering the Funds’ M&A and portfolio company management activities in utility scale solar and storage, green digital infrastructure, renewable fuels, and distributed energy. Prior to his time at Quinbrook, Mr. Dempsey held roles at the World Bank Group and York Capital Management focusing on investments in power, renewables, and infrastructure globally.

Mr. Dempsey holds a Master of Business Administration from The Wharton School where he focused on Finance, Energy & Environment, and Innovation and a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Accounting from Elon University, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. Mr. Dempsey is also a CFA Charterholder.
