EnCap Cares

Citizenship is a core value at EnCap Investments. We believe that to whom much is given, much is expected. We express this philosophy by giving back to the local community through meaningful partnerships with local nonprofits, support when disaster strikes and a program that matches the donations EnCap employees make to nonprofits dollar-for-dollar.

Charitable Contribution & Sponsorship Program

In 2015, EnCap initiated its Charitable Contribution & Sponsorship Program to encourage and support EnCap employees to give back to the community. EnCap matches dollar-for-dollar all employee donations to nonprofit organizations, including those focused on education and health care.

Community Projects

There from the beginning: Small Steps Nurturing Center was founded in 1995 and now operates two preschools for at-risk children living in the Houston area. Small Steps provides a high-quality education, social and emotional support, a nurturing Christian environment, transportation and nutritious meals to children ages two through six who live in poverty.

Disaster Relief

Hurricane Harvey, a Category 4 hurricane, slammed into the Houston area on August 25, 2017, devastating Houston and many other Gulf Coast communities. There were 82 fatalities and over 39,000 were forced to evacuate their homes. Many of our employees played a key role in the immediate search and rescue efforts and the cleanup and rebuilding initiatives that followed. Those efforts continue today.
